You place the box down, so it levitates over the ground, disturbing the mist. Undoing the knot of your apron, you turn it over so that the pocket is now on the outside, and retie it.

​Much better! You slide your hands under the box and imagine it shrinking to a small cube. When it's about the size of your thumb, you place it in the pocket and button it. You feel a slight push from your chest, but ignore it. There are other questions to ask.
You turn your head to look back to where the soldier is... or where they were. In a panic you spin around, spotting them down the hill, by the trench. Your feet pound out the mist as you run down to meet them.
They are on their own feet, looking over the edge. When you approach, their yellow vizor falls on you.
"They disappeared, huh." They state.​
